The models fall into a few groups. Many are shaped for one car family, where the knob has a specific spline or socket on the back. Others are generic round knobs that fit a shaft of a given diameter, and some are only covers that slide over an existing handle. When choosing a model, compare the shaft: diameter, number of splines, depth of the socket and the overall diameter of the grip. Check how the knob is fixed — press fit, screw or a clip — and whether the author shows the part from the back. For printing, the material matters: parts inside a car see heat, so many makers list a filament and settings they used. Look at the orientation, wall thickness and whether the model needs supports, and read photos of real prints before you slice.

If the first search gives little, try other words for the same part: knob, dial, adjuster, handle, lever or grip. Adding the seat side or the seat type narrows the list, and related terms such as seat rail, trim clip or interior handle often lead to matching designs. For printer parts, search by the axis or the bed instead of the car wording.
