Warhammer Miniature STL Files: Figures, Bases, Terrain

«Warhammer Miniature STL Files: Figures, Bases, Terrain»

Figures range from single characters to multi-pose sets, and they differ mainly in scale, pose count and how much assembly they need. Bases appear as plain rounds, slotted versions and magnet fillings in several diameters, while terrain covers ruins, buildings and small scatter pieces such as barrels. Painting handles, racks and display boxes form a separate group: they serve the hobby around the models rather than the models themselves.

Before printing, read the author's page for the stated scale, base diameter and part count, and check whether the figure is split for assembly or printed as one piece. Look at how thin the weapons, cloaks and other protruding parts are, since those decide the orientation and whether supports are needed. Material and layer height matter as well: fine figures and small details usually call for resin, while larger ruins and buildings can go on an FDM machine.

If a search returns little, widen the terms: wargame figures, tabletop miniatures, 28mm or 32mm scale, grimdark scenery, ruins, barrels and crates. Searching by base diameter or slot type often finds base sets that a single keyword misses. Related topics such as painting accessories, storage boxes and risers are worth a separate search when you are setting up a workspace.
