Car mobile phone holder

PLEASE READ before buying this item!

This mobile phone holder is designed to hold a mobile phone sized ~100x70x7mm (Samsung S10) BUT the 'anchor' clip is designed specifically for Vauxhall Astra 2015 and will NOT fit in any other car. However, it can be easily modified to match your requirements with very little work.

This item will require manual assembly, numbers below will refer to the ones on the snips above.

Super glue and steel wire (2mm) will be required for this assembly.

There are 5 separate objects, but the 'beads' have to be printed in multiple copies (depending on how long you want the arm to be). Once all parts are printed you start assembly with mounting your 1st bead inside the top anchor (1) (refer to snips for correct orientation). Next, put the wire through the 1st bead (the one glued with the anchor). At this point you should have the overall arm length worked out. Glue the anchor to the main (holder) (2) Carry on with the beads, making sure that they fit together nicely (leave a little room for extra movement, this will also reduce the friction). Once all beads are on the wire and you are happy with everything you can put the bottom cylinder and the bottom clip and secure the wire inside the designated crevice.

Depending on your location you may consider printing in ABS as PLA will melt in the car if it gets too warm.
