Omega Pipe Clamp Checking Fixture

This is a checking fixture for a pipe clamp, developed for a metrology course. During the semester, we learned about various standards and requirements for part manufacturing, and how to verify that all parts meet these dimensional specifications. As the project progressed, we created three prototypes and a final model, aiming to make the measurement process as fast, precise, and comfortable as possible. We complied with standards such as ISO 17025, and also used NX software to model the fixture and verify the measurements, as well as ergonomic graphs (which show the physical effort required by the user when operating the fixture).
