Gasket for trapezoidal lid of metal canister.

Lids of aluminum and steel canisters for 10-20 liters of fuel are closed by pressing semicircular brackets on two protrusions.

In such a lid, a rubber gasket is installed, which over time "squeezes" and loses the ability to seal the volume, which leads to fuel leakage.

Gaskets sold on AliExpress are very rigid and often do not fit in shape. Under such gaskets, you have to put plastic bags to seal and prevent leaks, but this is very inconvenient. In addition, gaskets can be made of non-gasoline-resistant rubber.

TPU must be used for printing.

Since TPU can have different degrees of rigidity, 15% gyroid infill was chosen for printing. You can choose another infill.

Printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer, 3 walls, without supports.

The size of the gasket is chosen so that when installing it, it needs to be stretched a little and such a gasket is firmly held by a special flange on the canister lid. TPU withstands the aggressive effects of gasoline and diesel fuel, does not swell or dissolve.
