K1+K1c Lid Gap Filler (NO NEW FASTENERS NEEDED)

Purpose

This model serves as a gap filler for the K1+ K1C printers to help keep the heat in for high temp filaments and the noise out

Printing Recommendations

Print with ASA for longevity and heat resistance, ABS could work, PETG could also work as long as you don't use high chamber temps. I print a lot at 50-65C so ASA was a must

Assembly Instructions

Retract your filament and disconnect the PTFE tubing from the runout sensor then unscrew the rear chain-guide mount, slide the screws from the mount into the slots on the model and place above the chain guide mount (sometimes you need to twist it along the wire while inserting it). Now slide the PTFE tubing through the hole in the corner and screw down the plate (there are holes in the top to give access to the Allen key), sanding may be needed on the bottom surface to make a snug fit on the mount when tightened.
