Description
I wanted something more mobile, so I upgraded the collar ( https://www.crealitycloud.com/it/model-detail/68380a53d9bc4f366d041f79 ) by adding rotation to the tube support.
I have included two variants: one with a square nut - which cannot loosen once installed - but I also wanted to create a version with a self-locking nut.
If neither works for you, I have attached the STEP files for modifications; for smoother rotation, I added a washer between the two parts.
For the model with the square nut, I used an M3x10 Allen bolt, and for the self-locking one, an M3x12 Allen bolt.
The quick-release fittings are 10mm; I have also added a 6mm model.
As usual, STEP files are included for modifications.
Project
This rotating PTFE tube support has been designed to offer greater flexibility and durability during the movement of the print head on a 3D printer.
Usage
The accessory is useful for keeping the tube in position and preventing kinks or damage, improving the overall efficiency of the extrusion system.
Printing Tips
Print with high infill to ensure robustness, and use heat-resistant material such as ABS or PETG.
Assembly Instructions
Attach the support to the top of the printer at the tube entry point, ensuring it rotates without any obstructions.
