This custom lid was designed for anyone looking to enclose the K1SE and improve internal airflow during printing.

The printer becomes almost fully enclosed, with only the front door still under development.

This lid can also be used as a direct replacement for the original part.

The integrated vents improve airflow and help control internal temperature more efficiently.

All parts snap or slide into place using printed joints, without any hardware.

/////ADVANTAGES OVER THE ORIGINAL LID

1. Vented design allows heat to escape during prints that do not require a high chamber temperature.

2. Works together with the riser to reduce internal temperature without opening the lid or front door.

3. Helps reduce noise during printing by keeping the enclosure sealed.

4. Flush with the riser, creating a cleaner and more consistent look.

- To make sure everything fits exactly as designed, I ran multiple tolerance tests to fine-tune all the snap-fit joints.

- Test pieces are included so you can check the fit before printing the full parts.

- Each test part includes reference measurements in the manual, making it easier to verify if your printer is delivering the required accuracy.

- This step helps avoid misalignments and ensures all components will assemble as intended.
