A simple, yet efficient ventilation grille with no light pass-through and noise cancellation.

Print guide

Your printer's build plate has to be at least 22cm x 13cm in size in order to print the model.

Print the flat side down without any additional supports . 10% infill should work fine.

Keep in mind that you will need to print all 3 pieces twice for both sides of the door → 6 pieces in total.

Installation guide

Cut a 49cm x 9.2cm hole though the door. Then, carefully insert the printed pieces. The blades should point down on both sides of the door in order to block light and sound pass-through.

Use strong glue to secure the grille.

Possible modifications

It is also possible to modify the width of the grille by excluding the middle piece or by using it more than once. The width of the middle piece is approximately 9.7cm .
