🔍 Model name decoding

HW – Hot Wheels compatible

TB – Track Builder compatible

304 – model/version

Three Way Crossing – 3-branch junction piece

A45 A90 – branches at 45° and 90° relative to the main lane

L200 – high side walls (~24 mm), branch length 200 mm

🧩 Description

Three-way crossing/junction track for Hot Wheels Track Builder layouts. One lane continues straight, with two additional branches at 45° and 90°, each branch 200 mm long with high side walls (~24 mm) to help keep cars under control through the junction.

Perfect for building Y-shaped junctions, side entries into a main straight, complex intersections and crash zones, while staying compatible with other HWTB straights, curves and connectors. Geometry is tuned for predictable FFF printing and a clean, reliable snap-fit into the HWTB system.

🖨️ Printing orientation & tips (TRACK)

RECOMMENDED : Presupported.

Aligns layer lines along the lane directions for strength and a smooth running surface.

SUPPORTS: REQUIRED

Use the included .3mf (preconfigured) — it contains the correct support setup for those surfaces.

If slicing the raw .stl, reproduce that support logic to maintain edge quality and durability.

Adhesion: Add a brim only if first-layer grip is weak.

Adhesion: PEI smooth or textured sheet with glue stick or another adhesion aid recommended.

🛠️ Recommended settings (tracks)

Layer height: 0.20 mm

Walls / perimeters: 4

Infill: 20% (Gyroid)

Supports: Required as above (use the included .3mf config)

Brim: Optional

Filament: PETG (recommended) or PLA (PLA is fine for indoor play; for UV/outdoor use prefer PETG/ASA)

Perimeter engine: Arachne (variable line width) recommended

Fit tuning: If connections feel too tight/loose, adjust Horizontal Expansion (XY Compensation) ±0.05–0.15 mm (don’t scale the model).

📝 Notes

Matching connector: you can find the compatible connector among my other uploads.

The 45° + 90° combination makes this piece very flexible for layout design: side entries, diverging routes, or asymmetric figure-8 style crossings.

For consistent looks and friction, print crossings and straights from the same filament batch.

After support removal, lightly deburr the upper rails with fine sandpaper if needed so cars don’t catch at the surfaces.

☕ Support & Follow

If you like my designs, follow me — more functional everyday prints are coming soon, including tool organizers, workshop helpers, and printable accessories.

You can buy me a coffee simply by printing and boosting my files — nothing more 😉

Most of my uploads are completely free, so I’ll be truly happy if you decide to reward my work in any way.
