/////UPDATE 01 - 06|01|2026 - NEW FRONT WALL, FRONT VENTS, HANDLE

After using the riser for a few weeks, I noticed that the vents were not holding their position.

The connectors were creating a spring effect, so the vents would slowly move instead of staying where they were set.

///To fix this, I redesigned three parts:

- [b]_x1_K2_V4_VENTS_F

- [a]_x1_K2_V4_FRAME_OUTER_WALL_F

- [b]_x1_K2_V4_HANDLE

In the new version, the vents include two flexible tabs that act like spring clips.

These tabs engage with the detents on the frame outer wall.

///This creates a positive lock with three clear positions:

- Closed

- Half open

- Fully open

Each position is defined by a physical stop, so the vent stays exactly where you set it, without drifting over time.

*All parts have been tested and match the printer dimensions.

- Before you start printing this project, it is recommended to calibrate the filament. This helps avoid fit issues during assembly.

- Always test dimensional accuracy and adjust scale for shrinkage before printing the full set of parts.

- Structural parts such as walls and clamps should be printed in ABS, ASA, PETG, or another material suitable for higher temperatures.
