Description

Design Concept

This 3D printed model replicates the concept of a folding knife, crafted for fidgeting purposes. It's designed to be safe for play and handling, without any sharp edges, making it suitable for individuals who enjoy tactile engagement.

Use

Ideal as a fidget tool for stress relief or just messing around. Spins nicely and can be used as a double pendulum, which looks pretty cool.

Printing Advice

Should work on any old printer. I used PLA, but I can't see any issue with any other basic filament.

Make sure to print 8 c-clips, 2 fidget bodies, 1 axle, and 1 blade.

Assembly Instructions

Attach the c-clips to the inner slots (not all 8 just the inner ones for now). The clips need effort to go on, so don't be afraid to really push them on there, but they don't need to go all the way on. Slide the axle, or blade (whichever you started with) into the holes. The blade goes in the one closer to the angle at the top. While the blade or axle is inserted, clip on the outer clips to hold it in place. The body will feel loose until you put in both the axle and the blade.

OTHER:

I will be making a V2 soon, so be sure to follow me for that update. It should make the blade slimmer and feel nicer to use.

This blade is to be used as a fidget or a toy, it is not a weapon. The blade is blunt at the end, so it won't cut.

Any boosts, likes, comments, and favorites are all greatly appreciated. I work hard to bring free models, and all of these actions help to support me. Enjoy!
