Fiat Bravo 2 Front Door 165mm Speaker Adapter Spacer

This is a custom-designed speaker adapter/spacer for the Fiat Bravo 2 (2007–2014) front doors. It allows you to replace the factory front door speakers with standard aftermarket 165mm (6.5 inch) speakers.

In the OEM setup, the speaker basket and the spacer are integrated into a single unit, making it impossible to install aftermarket speakers without a dedicated adapter. This print solves that issue, providing the correct depth and clearance so the new speaker doesn't interfere with the window mechanism or the door card.

Geometry Status: The geometry and fitment have been fully tested and verified in a real car. The mounting holes align perfectly with the factory door layout.

Crucial Material & Printing Recommendations:

- Tested with: Hyper PLA (only for geometry and fitment verification). - Recommended Materials: PETG, ABS, or ASA.

WARNING : It is highly discouraged to use standard PLA for the final installation. The interior of a car door reaches extreme temperatures during summer and is exposed to moisture. PLA will deform over time, leading to loose speakers and poor sound quality. For long-term durability, use at least PETG, or preferably ABS/ASA for maximum temperature and environmental resistance.

Installation & Positioning Instructions (CRITICAL):

- Remove the OEM Speaker: Carefully drill out the original rivets holding the factory speaker to the door metal sheet. - Proper Alignment (Important!): The speaker opening in the door panel is not centric with the speaker itself. Therefore, correct orientation of the spacer is crucial. Look for the small "TOP" text embossed on the adapter's flange—this side must face upwards. Installing it in any other orientation will cause the speaker to misalign with the factory door card/speaker grille. - Mount the Adapter: Attach the correctly oriented adapter to the door using M5 bolts, paired with washers and nylon locking nuts (nyloc) to prevent loosening from vibrations. - Install the Speaker: Mount your new 165mm aftermarket speaker into the adapter using standard plastic/wood screws.

Tip: For the best audio performance, it is highly recommended to soundproof the doors using butyl/bitumen rubber sheets and foam. Additionally, consider adding a thin layer of foam tape or silicone between the door and the adapter, as well as between the adapter and the speaker, to ensure a perfect airtight seal and eliminate any potential rattles.
