Extended Filament Cutter Actuator for the Creality K2 Plus DXC2 Extruder

Introduction After upgrading my Creality K2 Plus with the new DXC2 Extruder, I noticed that the printer no longer cut the filament reliably after each print.

After investigating the issue, I found that the new DXC2 extruder cover is slightly wider than the original version. Because of this, the original filament cutter actuator contacts the housing before it can fully engage the cutter mechanism.

To solve the issue, I redesigned the original actuator.

Modifications 1 mm wider on each side 2 mm longer overall These changes allow the actuator to reach the cutter completely, restoring reliable automatic filament cutting.

Since installing the modified part, the filament cutter has been working perfectly again.

Note: This model was specifically designed for the DXC2 Extruder. Please compare your hardware before installation, as revisions may vary.
