Dragon Waterfall – Backflow Incense Burner

I created this backflow incense burner because I wanted something cool for my workshop—something that would give the place a little more character. It features a dragon climbing a rocky waterfall while the smoke flows down through a hidden internal channel.

And before anyone says, “It would look better with smoke coming out of the dragon’s mouth”—yes, I considered it. However, incense burns and generates considerable heat, so I intentionally chose this configuration to make the heat easier to isolate from the printed parts.

The model prints in three parts: the main body, the removable dragon head, and a connector peg. The complete print settings are included in the 3MF file.

Before printing and using it, please remember that burning incense can generate enough heat to damage or melt PLA. The upper incense cavity must be lined with a heat-resistant material, such as plaster or cement, while keeping the smoke duct completely clear. Allow the liner to cure and dry fully before lighting the incense. The burning cone must never touch the printed plastic directly.
