Description
Compact and space saving shoe rack with a flowing design. When taking the pictures we found out that this also works perfect as a decorative wall shelf and possibly also other places, it turned out to be a very useful design. You can make it in whatever height / length you prefer as it only consist of 2 different parts which push together with pins.
- Build in any height - Push together with included printable pins (glue not needed but can be added) - Wide variety of uses - Optional wall mount Update
As this shoe rack was a huge success i have made a whole modular shelf system that fit together with all the parts in this shoe rack. You can check it out here: Modular Shelf for Wall / Floor / Desk
If you are looking for something with LED light's, check out my Modular LED Shelf :-)
Printing
- 0.2 mm layer height - 5% infill in shelf parts (if you are building it taller or are using it for “heavy” shoes i would recommend going to 8-15%) - 15% infill in pins and wall mounts - Print pins laying down - Support for bottom bend of the end piece, pins and wall mount - The pins are very tight, I recommend rotating both ends of the pins in the holes a bit before mounting, then it's easier to disassemble if you would like to make changes later. - The wall mounts are threaded on the pins between two parts, mount it with the square with the screw hole facing down. Secure to the wall with a screws. Boost Me I hope you enjoy my work and a boost goes a long way in keeping me busy designing and testing new models :-) Membership Do you want to support my work or sell prints of my models? Print profiles and steps
0.2mm layer, 5% infill shelf parts, 15% infill pins, 2 walls - 0.2 mm layer - 2 walls - 5% infill for shelf parts - 15% infill for pins - 15% infill for wall mount - Support for pins and lower corner of end piece and wall mount - Print pins laying down
Complete 5 Level Shelf with 0.24mm layer, 2 walls, 5% infill 4 Plates with all elements you need for the shelf as seen on picture I mirrored the half of the parts so you can put the nice plate surface to the front for an evenly finish
0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 6% infill gyroid little more stable almost the same amount of material but a little bit more stable gyroid infill…the original crackles if you just touch it
also added a little 30mm wallmount extension. The kids shoes worked perfect with the rack but the adults shoes were to big for this rack…now even my sneaker size 44 have enough place
Update: 03.02.2026. something have changed in the Slicer Software, so i had to update this one.
No Supports Stronger Wall Mount I tried printing the wall mounts and one broke trying to separate it from the supports and another broke while trying to mount the thing. I slightly tweaked the model to remove the sharp angles in the area it broke (which also removes the need for supports) and use a modifier to print that section solid for more internal contact area.
Link Bridge - 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 5% infill Allows to link two separate ‘towers’ together, for a more stable structure.
Same settings as original, all modifications to model done directly in Bambu Studio.
