Reproduction of the armor helmet from the famous video game and TV series "Fallout". This helmet is my personal interpretation, created with Fusion 360 and Meshmixer. At the beginning of the project, the idea was to create a life-size helmet divided into several parts; after finishing the sculpture I printed a small model to see the final result and I liked the result as a miniature.

But this small test model had some imperfections, so after making the appropriate changes I scaled it up making it bigger (suitable for the plate of an X1C, P1S, A1) and started printing.

I really liked the second result, so I decided to release this "desktop" version, a reproduction to keep in the "trophy cabinet", on a shelf or on a table.

If the model will be a good success, I will continue the design of the wearable model with the necessary modifications, as this model, compared to a wearable model, is only a test to understand which details to make and see the critical points (for example, I prepared the air vents for breathing but I have not yet prepared the eye part that will be modified). The wearable model will be composed of several separate parts.

Personally, I liked this "draft" and I want to share it with you.

My printing tests were carried out on X1C and an Anycubic Kobra 3.

The best results are clearly from Bambulab

The supports are easily removed leaving the model very clean, as you can see from the photos, but if you are not a fan of supports and do not have the patience to remove them, this model is not for you.

These are the only tools used for removal.

Enjoy!
