Description

A visually striking tray designed with a continuous geometric mesh that, when printed in translucent material, appears almost invisible from certain angles. The optical effect is astonishing: the grid blends with light and background, creating a shifting illusion of transparency depending on your point of view.

Perfect as a desk tray, entryway organizer, centerpiece, or simply a decorative object with a futuristic look.

Technical Features

- Recommended size: 200 × 130 × 40 mm - Best materials: Translucent PETG or PLA - Structure: Integrated rhombus mesh on base and walls - Supports: Not required - Infill: 0% (the grid structure is self-supporting) - Estimated print time: 4–6 h with 0.4 mm nozzle - Wall thickness: 0.8 mm (2 perimeters), base can be single-layer or 0.4 mm Tips

- Use frosted or translucent filament for the best optical effect. - When placed on a light-colored or backlit surface, it creates dynamic geometric shadows . - The model is scalable only in positive dimensions .

❗ Do not scale negatively : negative scaling will result in inverted mesh geometry and likely printing failure.

Aesthetic Note

From certain perspectives, the tray appears to vanish. From others, the grid intensifies, revealing hypnotic patterns. A perfect object for lovers of parametric design and visual illusion.
