Description

This is my 2nd design on my quest to revisit some of my early models and design as such models that don't require any hardware to be fully functional.

I've re-visited on how I print the threaded rod, this now prints horizontally, to print horizontally entails creating a flat spot on the bottom of the thread, this has no detriment to how the threads function, as the printer prints with layer lines printing this way will be way more stronger.

There are supports to the lower part of the main body channel, these are minimal tree supports and are removed with ease.

This angle or corner clamp is a little different with the open end allowing you to apply glue to the angles whilst in situ so to speak.

To assemble the clamp you take the handle and screw it clockwise onto the threaded rod at the non cut out end of the rod as far as will go and tighten, next, screw the threaded rod into the thread on the main body, screw it in around half way, next take the angled plunger, the singular slot should be on top of the component and slot this onto the end of the threaded rod, take the locking tab and insert into the slot and push it in all the way, this locks the threaded rod in place, finally take the guide block and insert this into the underside of the angled plunger, press this into position, this can be secured with a little CA Glue, this is a channel guide and stops any sideways movement and if glued in will stop any flexing upwards of the threaded rod.

The clamp can be fixed to a surface using the 4no counter sunk holes, if a permanent fix is needed.

Thanks for Looking.
