Description

A Seamoth Subnautica Fan Model (Multi-Color Print, with Glass Dome Option)

Description: This is my first attempt at a multi-color 3D print , inspired by the Seamoth from Subnautica . It’s not perfect, but I wanted to share it in case others would like to try printing it or improve on it.

I’ve uploaded three different versions of the model:

- 3-part version – this is the version I strongly recommend . It’s the most material-efficient, best suited for 3D printing, and the only version where you can add a glass bulb as the cockpit dome. The bulb I used is 6 cm in diameter . If your bulb is larger or smaller, please scale the model accordingly. there is photo of the type i used it's pretty standard in europe and you may have to remove the metal part for an easter fit. - 2-part version – this is the version I printed myself (see photos). as you cannot properly get the glass bulb in there; on one side you’ll notice a large crack, since I forced it open to make the bulb fit, and i don't have the right filament on hand to try again. - 1-part version – for those who prefer printing the whole model as one solid piece. For the multi-color setup, I used Bambu Studio’s default color settings . Since this was my very first multi-color project, I haven’t optimized it much. I recommend opening the file in Bambu Studio and choosing your own color scheme — either to match your in-game Seamoth or simply to fit the filament colors you have available.

As you can see in the photos, I actually ran out of black and yellow mid-print and had to replace them with dark green and orange, which gave it a unwanted "unique" look :(

It’s not a perfect model, but I hope you enjoy printing it and maybe even improve on it.

Features:

- Three different print versions (3-part strongly recommended) - Glass bulb cockpit dome (6 cm recommended size, scale model if needed) - Multi-color ready (Bambu Studio default setup) - Inspired by the Seamoth from Subnautica
