Sonic Tails Multicolor Figure - No AMS Needed

This model is designed to be printed in color using any 3D printer, without the need for an AMS.

The model is split into separate parts. Simply print the plates in the corresponding filament colors and assemble them like a 3D puzzle.

Assembly & Tolerances

- First, print the base and make sure the tolerance settings are at 0 (x-y hole compensation=0 and x-y contour compensation=0) - Make the test piece ( piece 5). The parts have a 0.25 offset from the base. This should be sufficient for most printers. -  If your printer has a lower or higher tolerance, you should adjust two values: offset of the x-y values for contours and holes. -  If the piece doesn't fit, try setting -0.02 for the contour and +0.02 for the hole. If there's clearance, do the opposite: +0.02 for the contour and -0.02 for the gap. Take your time with the test piece to make sure everything fits perfectly before printing the rest of the model.

Print Settings

- Layer Height: 0.32mm for the base / 0.2mm for the character parts. - Bed Adhesion: Make sure your print bed is perfectly clean and free of drafts. The model contains very small parts that could come loose. - Colors: I used Smartfill Recycled Yellow for my print, but feel free to experiment with shades or filament swaps to get your perfect tone. Important

I've added a specific profile for the A1 containing the small white and yellow pieces. This profile uses brims to ensure perfect adhesion and reduces the print speed to compensate for the printer's vibrations, keeping the delicate parts safe.
