HOW TO PLAY Battleship: Kaiju Defense (The Short Version)

It's an asymmetric, 3D-printable wargame for 2 players that plays in 20-25 minutes. One player commands a mighty Kaiju , while the other commands a fleet of 3 Warships defending a city.

The Goal:

Kaiju Player: Win by destroying all 3 Warships OR all 17 city buildings.

Warship Player: Win by reducing the Kaiju's 10 Hit Points (HP) to zero.

The Core Gameplay (Simple Dice, Deep Strategy):

Play proceeds in rounds with players rolling special dice.

The Kaiju rolls one powerful die with attacks like "Devastating" (hits 3 targets) and "Defense" (block 1 damage or counterattack).

The Warships each roll their own die, with actions like attacking, repairing 1 HP, or activating a "Shield" to negate the Kaiju's strongest attacks.

The Key Mechanic:

The Kaiju regenerates HP by destroying city buildings. The more the city is devastated, the stronger the Kaiju becomes, creating constant strategic trade-offs.
