This adapter allows you to use your existing V15, V11, V10, or V8 accessories on the newer Dyson V16 vacuum.

Since Dyson swapped the connection interface on the V16 (the vacuum now features the "insert" rather than the "socket"), your older tools won't fit without an adapter. This model bridges that gap using a simplified, friction-fit design.

⚠️ Important: Usage Instructions

- Friction Fit: This adapter does not use a mechanical red button to lock. It uses a precision-tapered "squeeze fit" to hold the tool in place. - Gentle Pressure: Do not force the adapter onto your V16. Push until it is snug. Using excessive force could potentially damage the plastic housing of your vacuum. - Non-Motorized Only: This adapter does not have electrical pass-through pins. It is designed for "passive" tools like the crevice tool, upholstery brush, or stubborn dirt brush. It will not power a Motorbar or Fluffy head. 🚀 Why this design?

Building a fully mechanical adapter with springs and buttons is complex and prone to breaking when 3D printed. By using a conic friction-fit , I’ve created a design that is:

- Easy to Print: No supports are required for the internal geometry. - Compact: Adds minimal length to your tools compared to bulky mechanical adapters. - Compatible: Finally lets you use your expensive kit of older V15/V11 tools with your new V16 vacuum. 🛠️ Technical Details
