Description

🐛 Bugs Fishing Mold – Professional Soft Bait Mold (20mm & 38mm)

Bugs Fishing Mold is a professional, two-piece reusable mold designed for DIY casting of soft plastic fishing baits in a highly effective worm/larva shape. Thanks to its precise design, the cast lures feature distinct segments that create excellent action in the water, irresistible to predatory fish.

With this single project, you can craft two highly versatile lure sizes:

- Larger size (38 mm): Ideal for classic ultralight techniques and targeting larger fish. - Smaller size (20 mm): Perfect for micro-jigging, or when the fish are extremely picky. 🎣 Application & Target Species

These soft baits are a real game-changer on the water! The natural larva shape works wonders in various fishing scenarios:

- Trout: Specifically designed with trout fishing in mind—highly effective both for wild trout in fast-flowing rivers and stocked fish in commercial ponds (Trout Area). - Other Predators: A must-have in the box of any ultralight (UL) spinning enthusiast. It works brilliantly for perch , chub, ide, and even panfish. 🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the mold is completely sealed and the cast lures come out smooth without visible layer lines, use the following settings:

- Layer Height: Max 0.16 mm (for premium quality, 0.12 mm ). A lower layer height ensures a flawless surface finish inside the cavity, resulting in perfect-looking baits. - Infill: Min. 20% (25% is recommended). - Wall Loops: Min. 3-4 walls to prevent liquid plastic/plastisol from seeping through the printed layers. - Material: PET-G or ABS is highly recommended due to their superior thermal and chemical resistance when coming into contact with hot casting materials. - Note: Standard PLA may deform over time from the intense heat of liquid plastisol. 💡 How to Use

- Align both halves of the mold together (use the alignment pins/sockets to ensure a perfect fit). - Secure the mold tightly using a small hobby clamp or strong rubber bands to prevent any leaking along the seams. - Slowly inject or pour heated liquid plastisol (soft bait plastic) into the injection port. - Allow it to cool down completely, open the mold, and enjoy your custom, high-catching homemade lures!
