This is the V2 unified Metric + Inch Preset version of my parametric barbed Y hose connector, designed for flexible rubber, silicone and soft PVC tubes.

The model creates a Y-shaped hose connector with three barbed outlets sharing the same hose diameter.

This V2 update combines both workflows into a single project:

This update was also made after a user request asking whether the connector could be generated in 5 mm and 6 mm sizes.

V2 now makes the model more flexible for small tubes, light-duty hose routing and compact workshop setups.

The editable values are still entered in millimeters , because Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer uses metric parameter values, but the project also includes common inch preset references converted into millimeters.

The design can be customized directly in Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer by changing the main parameters, allowing users to create different metric and inch-based Y hose adapters, hose splitters and three-way utility connectors.

It is intended for light-duty workshop, DIY, maker, hobby and utility use, such as:

The barbs are automatically scaled from the hose diameter, wall thickness and grip level, so the user does not need to manually adjust many technical values.

This V2 version was created to make the model easier to use and more complete.

This version is especially useful for users who work with small silicone tubes, soft PVC tubes, rubber hoses, workshop utility lines and custom experimental routing.

Important Geometry Note

In this Y hose connector, all three hose branches use the same outside barb diameter.

The main editable diameter is:

A_OD

This value controls the outside diameter of all three barbed hose connections.

This model is designed for:

It is not intended for reduced Y connectors with different diameters on each branch.

For reduced Y adapters, a separate version with independent branch diameters would be required.

The Y_ANG parameter controls the branch angle used to generate the Y split.

The available Y angle range is:

75° to 150°

A smaller angle creates a more compact Y shape.

A larger angle creates a wider Y shape with more separation between branches.

For most practical workshop and hose-routing applications, a value around 90° is a good starting point.

Metric and Inch Preset Note

This project supports both metric sizing and inch preset references.

Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer uses millimeter values, so inch sizes are provided as converted metric values.

For metric use, enter the hose internal diameter directly in millimeters.
