Bambu Lab P2S Extruder Unit Front Cover Insert

This is a replacement insert for the original Bambu Lab P2S Extruder Unit Front Cover .

I recreated this small insert because the original spare part was not immediately available and shipping would have taken too long. The model was designed by measuring and recreating the original part to keep my printer running while waiting for the official replacement.

The part shown in the photos was printed in ABS and has successfully completed more than 40 printing hours without any issues so far.

Print Settings

Recommended Material: ABS or ASA (Optional PETG) Layer Height: 0.12 mm Perimeters: 3+ Infill: 30–50% Supports: Not required

PETG NOTE! If you do not have access to an enclosed 3D printer, the replacement part can also be printed in PETG. However, this should be considered a temporary solution, as PETG has not been extensively tested for long-term use in this application and is not recommended for continuous operation.

Why I Made This

My original insert was damaged and I needed a replacement quickly. Since the official spare part would have taken some time to arrive, I decided to recreate the component and share it with the community.
