Description
Vintage Wooden-Style Floating Ball Toy
Experience the magic of physics with a classic aesthetic! This Floating Ball Toy is not just a fun game but a beautiful piece of design. Featuring a detailed wood-grain texture , it’s designed to be a high-quality educational tool for kids and a stylish desk toy for adults.
Performance & Design
We spent hours optimizing the aerodynamics. The floating ball features a top-vent hole that creates a "chimney effect," stabilizing the ball in the air stream for much longer than standard spheres.

Happy Floating! Print Settings (Optimized for Bambu Lab A1)
Main Body (Pipe & Pins):
- Walls: 2 - Infill: 8% Gyroid (for great structural strength with low weight) - Supports: Tree supports (Auto), only from build plate. The "Ultra-Light" Ball (Approx. 0.9g): To achieve the perfect flight, use these specific settings:
- Layer Height: 0.12mm (Fine) - Walls: 1 Wall (Arachne) - Top/Bottom Layers: 1 - Internal Solid Infill: Concentric - Bridge Speed: 20 mm/s - Line Width: 0.35mm (Forced thin wall) - Infill: 0% Pro Tips for Makers
- Flow Calibration: If your ball feels too heavy to fly, try reducing the Flow Ratio to 0.90 or 0.88 . This will make the wall even thinner and lighter. - Cooling: Ensure 100% part cooling fan for the ball to get a clean finish on the top vent. - Assembly: The pins are designed to fit snugly. A drop of superglue can be used for a permanent bond, but a tight friction fit usually does the trick!
