I did hours of research to try and nail down the dimensions, shape, and structure of Cherry MX keycaps. Since the actual specs are proprietary, I did multiple measurements of existing keycaps, switches, and online research. All of the existing models I found had slight issues down to how the lofts were done in CAD creating faces that were just slightly more curved than I thought they should be. Here is why I believe these are the best Cherry MX compatible keycap models online:

📏 Accuracy - Not just the dimension because those are completely modifiable, but the shape and how it is parameterized so that your customizations are both easy and keep the shape accurate

🤖 Parameterized - Simple to modify with a free Fusion 360 license. Meaning the model is hard to break. It'll even add the 2 extra stems automatically based on when the width gets to 2u.

🎨 Fully Customizable - CAD file available to make any edits that aren't fully parameterized. Even has a plane already set up to add custom SVGs/text to the top of the keycap.

What is provided

- A ready to print .3mf file with every common combination of row (R) and width (u) seen on keyboards. - A set of .step files of each individual keycap in the .3mf files that you can use for reference or modifications in any CAD software. - A .f3d file that you can open in Fusion and customize to your heart's content. Important Notes

- Keycap stems are notorious for taking tweaking to dial in for your given printer, filament, and switches (even if they're all Cherry MX switches). - The current stem dimensions are set to be as universal as possible but may be too tight or loose for you. In that case, you will need to adjust them in the slicer or CAD file. - Cherry MX keycaps can differ in dimensions, so my R1 - R4 back and front height dimensions may not exactly match your existing keycap set. Again, this is why the CAD file is provided. I'd use calipers to figure out what your dimensions are if they're not lining up. - You may need to subtract .2mm from all of your height measurements. Because these keycaps are optimized for 3D printing, the stem extends all the way to touch the build plate rather than being inset about .2mm like in regular injection molded keycaps. How to modify parameters

* Assumes you have a basic understanding of Fusion and CAD.

- Download and open the .f3d in Fusion. - Click Modify > Change Parameters… - Edit the Favorited User Parameters and click OK when done (see image) - Export the body as a .step or .stl file. - Upload into your chosen slicer. Future work

🎙️ Comment what you'd like to see or if you need support!

- Add spacebars. Only keycaps with a concave surface up to 2.75u are offered and supported by the CAD model - Simplify .svg and text. Only the plane to create a sketch on and upload svgs or add text yourself is provided. You have to know how to do the rest. - Add other keycap shapes. Only Cherry MX style is supported directly. Fusion file probably works for OEM if you're decent with CAD. Disclaimer

This is in no way an official Cherry MX project or set of keycaps. The official specs are proprietary and unknown to me.
