Description
FNT Cat Puzzle Treat Board - 4x4 Sliding Puzzle
Give your cat, dog, or other small pet a fun mental challenge with this simple sliding puzzle treat board!
The toy works on the same principle as a classic sliding puzzle. The 4x4 playing area contains 15 movable tiles and one empty space. Hidden beneath each tile is a compartment where you can place your pet's favorite treats. By pushing the tiles and opening new compartments, your pet gradually discovers the rewards hidden underneath.
Our Experience
Be patient with your furry friend!
Our cat needed approximately two weeks to fully understand how the puzzle worked. Once she figured it out, it quickly became one of her favorite toys. Well... mostly because of the treats.
Today she can empty the entire puzzle in about 3 minutes.
Features
- Fun mental stimulation and enrichment for cats and other pets - Compact design - Fast printing time - 15 sliding tiles on a 4x4 board - Large 35 × 35 mm tiles - Spacious square treat compartments measuring 27 × 27 × 8 mm - Square compartments provide more treat capacity than circular designs - Recesses on the bottom side for optional 10 mm in diameter silicone feet to prevent sliding on the floor Training Tiles (Optional)
If you want to help your pet learn the puzzle faster, additional training tiles are included.
Besides the standard solid tiles, you can print tiles with:
- Small round openings - Large round openings - Small square openings - Large square openings
These openings allow your pet to smell or partially see the treats, making it easier to understand the goal of the puzzle.
Assembly
For proper operation, the puzzle requires exactly 15 tiles.
- Insert 14 tiles into the board. - Verify that all tiles move freely and are oriented correctly. - Firmly press the final tile into the remaining opening. The last tile locks the entire set of tiles in place and prevents them from falling out during play.
Insert silicon feet - up to 10mm in diameter to prevent sliding board on the floor
Removing the Tiles
If cleaning or maintenance is required:
- Use moderate force to remove one tile. - Once the first tile is removed, all remaining tiles can be taken out easily. Single-Color vs Multi-Color Versions
Cats find treats primarily by smell, not by color.
Once your cat is familiar with the toy and no longer afraid of it, it makes little difference whether:
- The entire puzzle is printed in one color, or - Every tile is printed in a different color Choose whichever version you like best.
Print Settings
Ready-to-print profiles are included, including profiles optimized for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
If you prefer creating your own profile, the recommended settings are:
- Layer height: 0.20 mm - Supports: Not required Happy printing, and enjoy watching your pet solve the puzzle!
