Best Palette is made for miniature painting, scale modeling, tabletop gaming, and water-based acrylic paints. Choose a ready-to-print size or customize the exact dimensions directly on MakerWorld—no CAD software required.

The paper and sponge can have different dimensions. The model automatically uses the largest measurement on each axis while preserving the wall thickness, snap fit, clearances, and sealing geometry.

SMALL

Suitable for:

• Hobby Mio • Green Stuff World Standard • DIY refills up to approximately 180 × 137 mm

Approximate maximum lid size: 199 × 156 mm.

MEDIUM

Suitable for:

• Redgrass Games Painter v2 • AK Interactive • Masterson Sta-Wet Handy • DIY refills up to approximately 225 × 155 mm

Approximate lid size: 246 × 176 mm.

LARGE

Suitable for:

• Redgrass Games Studio XL v2 • Green Stuff World XL • The Army Painter Wargamers Edition • DIY refills up to approximately 289 × 191 mm

Approximate lid size: 310 × 212 mm.

The Large version requires a larger printer and remains monolithic to avoid seams or uneven surfaces beneath the sponge.

OPTIONAL TPU GASKET

The lid includes a continuous channel for a removable TPU gasket. When the lid closes, the gasket compresses against the base rim to help reduce air exchange and evaporation.

Recommended material:

• TPU 95A

The palette can also be used without the gasket.

A Smooth PEI plate is recommended for cleaner lid text and underside engraving.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

Saturate the sponge, place the paper in full contact with it, and avoid excessive standing water.

After use, clean the reservoir, rinse the sponge and gasket, and allow all parts to dry completely before storage.
