Storage Box with Lid (small + medium sizes)

Overview

A sleek, simple rectangular storage box featuring a perfectly fitted, deep-overlap lid. With clean, rounded corners and no sharp edges, this design is highly functional and ideal for wrapping gifts or organizing hardware, small electronics, cables, and everyday household items.

There are 2 sizes to choose from (see print profiles).

Small box

Internal Size: 140mm (L) x 100mm (W) x 70mm (H)

Both the lid and the box itself are on the same plate so not plate changes are required.

I printed this in PLA which took about 1.5 hours and only 106g of filament.

Medium box

Internal Size: 170mm (L) x 130mm (W) x 130mm (H)

The lid and box are on separate plates.

Additional details

- Wall Thickness: 1.26mm resulting in exactly three solid perimeters when using a standard 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.42mm line width. - Lid Fit: The lid overlaps the box by 20mm and features a precise 0.3mm tolerance all the way around. This provides a satisfying, smooth slide-on fit that is easy to remove but stays securely in place. - Orientation: The main box should have its solid base flat on the bed. The lid should be upside down (with its flat top touching the build plate). Both parts are designed to print completely support-free without alterations.
