Description
Long highway stretches are hard on your right wrist - this little clip solves it.
The paddle rests against your palm, so you can hold the throttle steady with a relaxed hand instead of a constant grip. Push down slightly with the base of your palm and let your wrist rest.
FEATURES
- Clips directly onto standard grips - no tools, no screws, no glue - Slides off in seconds when you don't need it - Compact and light, fits in a jacket pocket - Flexible snap fit that holds firmly on the grip - Also works on scooters, quads and e-bikes with twist throttle
PRINT SETTINGS
- Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended (heat and UV resistant - PLA can soften in a hot parked bike or direct sun) - Layer height: 0.28 mm - Wall loops: 2 - Infill: 10 % - Supports: not required - Orientation: as sliced in the project file - Printed and tested on a Bambu Lab P1S
These are the settings I print and ride with. If you want a stiffer paddle, increase walls to 3-4 - it still clips on fine.
FITMENT
Designed for a 30 mm throttle grip diameter (standard on most motorcycles). If the fit is too tight or too loose, scale the model by 1-3 % in X/Y - the snap fit is forgiving.
SAFETY NOTE
This is a throttle assist, not a throttle lock - it does not hold the throttle open on its own and your hand stays on the grip at all times. Check that the clip does not interfere with the throttle returning to idle before you ride, and test it at low speed in a safe area first. Print and use at your own risk.
