This parametric photo frame was designed to be simple to print, easy to assemble, and more versatile than a standard tabletop frame. Its modular construction allows the same frame and the same removable stand to be used in both portrait and landscape orientation .

The frame geometry, rear panel, stand dimensions, and part arrangement automatically adapt to the selected photo size.

One stand, two orientations

Unlike many similar photo frames, this model does not require a different stand for portrait and landscape photos.

The rear panel includes two perpendicular dovetail mounting points:

- one for portrait orientation; - one for landscape orientation.

Simply remove the stand, rotate the frame, and insert it into the second mounting point.

Modular three-part design

The model consists of:

- a front frame; - a sliding rear panel; - a removable triangular stand. This makes printing, assembly, replacement, and color customization easier. Each component can also be printed in a different color.

Easy, support-free printing

All parts are designed to be printed flat on the build plate, without supports.

The removable stand is printed on its broad side for better adhesion and strength, while the raised dovetail guides on the rear panel avoid deep or difficult-to-print internal channels.

Personalized text and symbols

Add a name, date, short message, location, or decorative symbol to the bottom section of the frame.

Many Unicode symbols can also be used, depending on the selected font, including:

Automatic build-plate management

The model automatically checks whether the components fit on the selected printer build plate.

For smaller formats, all parts can be arranged on a single plate. For larger versions, the front frame and rear components are automatically separated across two plates.

Refined sliding fit

The rear panel slides into the frame using guided side rails with controlled clearance.

The fit is designed to hold the photo securely while still allowing the frame to be opened when the picture needs to be replaced.

Assembly

- Insert the photo into the front frame. - Slide the rear panel into the side guides. - Choose portrait or landscape orientation. - Insert the removable stand into the corresponding dovetail seat. - Place the frame on your desk, shelf, or table. No screws, glue, magnets, or additional hardware are required.
