Boost Me Your boosts help me create more fun designs! Thank you! <3 Commercial License Want to sell prints of my models? A commercial license is available through my membership — visit my MakerWorld profile for the details. Thanks for supporting the designs! A chubby little print-in-place Triceratops that comes off the plate already articulated. The segmented spine lets the body bend and wiggle from the frill to the tip of the tail, and the whole flexi dino is one piece — no supports, no assembly, roughly 29 × 48 × 20 mm so three of them sit comfortably in one palm. The supplied Bambu Studio profile paints it in four colours (green body, yellow frill spikes and back spots, black and white eyes) and fills a plate with copies, so you can batch a whole herd in one go.

Features

- Print-in-place articulation: ring joints between the head/frill, the mid-body sections and the tail give a smooth side-to-side wiggle straight off the build plate - Single-piece flexi dino — nothing to glue, clip or assemble - Three-horn face and spiked frill, true to a triceratops silhouette in a cute, chunky, cartoon style - Printed-in eyes with white highlight dots, plus a yellow spot pattern running down the back and tail - Legs are modelled into the body for a sturdy little shape; the movement lives in the spine - Palm-sized at about 29 × 48 × 20 mm — pocket, desk or party-favour scale - Four-colour AMS profile included, and the single STL can also be printed in one colour with no AMS - The included plate is laid out with a large batch of copies for printing many at once Included Files

- Bambu Studio 3MF print profile — the prepared, painted multicolour project (0.20 mm, PLA, no supports) with the copies already arranged on the plate - flexi triceratops_fixed.stl — the complete model as a single mesh, 28.61 × 47.75 × 19.93 mm, ready to slice on its own if you would rather set up your own plate or print it in a single colour Printing Information

- Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.20mm Standard @BBL X1C), 0.20 mm first layer - Material: PLA (Bambu PLA Basic profiles in all four slots) - Supports: none. Support generation is off in the profile — the model is designed to print flat on the plate without any - Colours: the supplied profile uses 4 filaments (green, black, yellow, white), so an AMS or manual filament swaps are needed for the painted version. The STL itself is one solid mesh and prints perfectly well in a single colour without an AMS - Walls / infill: 3 walls, 15% gyroid infill, 5 top and 3 bottom layers - Printer / nozzle: set up for the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with a 0.4 mm nozzle; the profile also lists the X1, X1E and P1S with 0.4 mm nozzles as compatible - Plates: 2 plates in the project (both unnamed), with the batch of copies — 38 instances of the model in total — arranged on the first plate over a 248 × 233 mm footprint. Delete copies in Bambu Studio if you only want one or two - Bed: Textured PEI Plate, 220 °C nozzle / 55 °C bed - Brim: auto brim (5 mm) — useful on a print this small with this many separate copies - Prime tower: enabled, printed by layer for the multicolour version - Assembly: none — it comes off the plate finished and movable - Print time and filament weight: the 3MF is not sliced, so print time is calculated by MakerWorld Usage

- Desk toy or fidget — the wiggling spine is nice to flick through while you think - Small gift, stocking filler or dino-party favour, especially printed in a batch - Display piece on a shelf, monitor stand or plant pot - Classroom or dinosaur-themed play, where a one-piece flexi toy is easier to hand around than a multi-part figure - Colour testing: an easy, quick way to try new AMS filament combinations at small scale Tips

- Keep the auto brim on for the batch plate — the footprint of each little dino is small, and the brim keeps the outer copies anchored. - Give the joints a gentle first flex once the print has fully cooled, then work the spine loose section by section. - If you want a single-colour print, slice the STL directly rather than the painted profile — no AMS needed and no prime tower waste. - The textured PEI plate gives the underside a subtle matte finish that suits the chunky, cartoon shape.

Guides and print profiles

Print profiles and steps

0.20mm – 4 Colors – AMS – No Supports – Print in Place Multicolour batch profile for the print-in-place flexi triceratops, tuned for clean small-scale joints straight off the plate.

- Layer height: 0.20 mm throughout, 0.20 mm initial layer (0.20mm Standard @BBL X1C) - Walls / shells: 3 wall loops, 5 top layers, 3 bottom layers - Infill: 15% gyroid - Supports: none — support generation is off - Material: PLA (Bambu PLA Basic @BBL X1C in every slot) - Colours / AMS: 4 filaments — slot 1 green (#00AE42), slot 2 black (#000000), slot 3 yellow (#F4EE2A), slot 4 white (#FFFFFF). The profile uses more than one filament, so an AMS or manual swaps are required; prime tower is enabled and printing is sequenced by layer. - Plates: 2 plates, both unnamed. The batch — 38 instances of flexi triceratops_fixed.stl in total — is arranged on plate 1 across a 248 × 233 mm footprint. Remove copies in Bambu Studio for a smaller run. - Bed / temps: Textured PEI Plate, 220 °C nozzle, 55 °C bed - Brim: auto brim, 5 mm width - Ironing: off - Printer: Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, 0.4 mm nozzle. Also listed as compatible: Bambu Lab X1, X1E and P1S with 0.4 mm nozzles. - Assembly: none — the model prints as one articulated piece - Model size: 28.61 × 47.75 × 19.93 mm per copy - Note: the project is not sliced — print time is calculated by MakerWorld. Changed from the system profile: infill pattern (gyroid) and wall loops (3).
