KTM 790 / 890 Adventure – 22 mm GPS & Phone Mount

I created this remix because I wanted to mount my phone with a Quad Lock above the original TFT display, using the existing navigation mounting location on the KTM.

This version uses the original cockpit mounting points and provides a 22 mm diameter mounting bar . This allows standard handlebar-style phone and GPS mounts to be installed above the dashboard, without modifying the motorcycle.

I personally use it with a Quad Lock handlebar mount , as shown in the photos.

About this remix

The original model wasn't compatible with the Quad Lock mount I use, so I redesigned it with a 22 mm cylindrical bar . This works with my standard Quad Lock handlebar mount and potentially other 22 mm phone or GPS mounts.

I also modified the lower mounting points so the original KTM threaded clips and bolts can be reused .

Mounting dimensions:

- Bar diameter: 22 mm - Maximum clamp width: 30 mm - Clearance underneath the bar: 27 mm Thanks to the creator of the original model for providing the basis for this remix.

Motorcycle compatibility

Tested:

- KTM 790 Adventure – 2022 The same style of navigation mounting arrangement is found on several 2019–2022 KTM 790 / 890 Adventure models , so the model may also fit those motorcycles.

I have personally tested it only on a 2022 KTM 790 Adventure . Please compare your cockpit and original navigation mounting points with the photos before printing.

Printing recommendations

This part is used on a motorcycle and can be exposed to vibration, sunlight, heat and weather . Use a material suitable for these conditions.

PLA is not recommended for permanent motorcycle use. PETG, ASA or another suitably heat-resistant material is recommended.

Advise to print on it's side for maximum strength and use 6 perimeter outer layer.

Print quality and strength are important for this application. Before riding, check the finished part carefully for poor layer adhesion, cracks or other defects.

After installation, make sure all hardware is securely tightened and periodically inspect both the printed part and mounting hardware.
