The main idea behind Pocket Capybara is simplicity. Instead of trying to recreate realistic fur, anatomy, or complicated surface textures, the model focuses on the characteristic silhouette of a capybara. The large rounded body flows smoothly into the head, creating a compact shape that feels soft, friendly, and slightly chibi-inspired.

One of the most recognizable features is the capybara's large, gently rounded snout. Under warm ambient lighting, the charcoal surface picks up subtle brown and golden highlights, giving the figurine a particularly cozy appearance. This makes it a nice match for wooden desks, plants, warm lamps, bookshelves, and other natural interior elements.

PLA Matte Charcoal Black also works especially well with the simple geometry of the model. Because there are no complicated textures competing for attention, natural highlights and shadows are enough to define the different parts of the character.

When scaling the figurine down, it is worth checking the smallest facial and ear details in your slicer. At larger sizes, the smooth geometry becomes more pronounced and gives the capybara an even softer, more sculptural appearance.
