Description

PVC reducing coupler — female Schedule 40 slip socket on one end, male NPT thread on the other, and unlike a standard fitting the two ends are sized independently . Pick any slip size and any thread size from the tables below, or use your own, and MakerWorld's Customizer builds the matching body — this is the fitting for when you need to step a pipe run down (or up) to a threaded port and nothing off the shelf bridges that exact combination.

Schedule 40 PVC socket sizing (slip side):

NPS ID (in) Wall thickness (in) Socket depth (in)

1/2" 0.622 0.109 0.688

3/4" 0.824 0.113 0.719

1" 1.049 0.133 0.875

1-1/4" 1.380 0.140 0.938

1-1/2" 1.610 0.145 1.094

2" 2.067 0.154 1.156

2-1/2" 2.469 0.203 1.750

3" 3.068 0.216 1.875

4" 4.026 0.237 2.000

And the NPT thread side:

NPS ID (in) Wall thickness (in) TPI Thread length (in)

1/2" 0.622 0.109 14 0.75

3/4" 0.824 0.113 14 0.75

1" 1.049 0.133 11.5 0.875

1-1/4" 1.380 0.140 11.5 1.0

1-1/2" 1.610 0.145 11.5 1.0

2" 2.067 0.154 11.5 1.0

2-1/2" 2.469 0.203 8 1.5

3" 3.068 0.216 8 1.5

4" 4.026 0.237 8 1.625

Print settings

- Prints upright, slip-socket end down on the plate, no supports needed. - PETG or ASA recommended over PLA if the part will see any sun, heat, standing water, or loads — a hose bib or an outdoor irrigation line gets hot in a black poly fitting box in July. - 3-4 perimeter walls and 25%+ infill. - Standard 0.4mm nozzle works fine.
