As I will continuously enhance this model base on your feedback, please revisit here for updates.
The Breeze Model X is a SUB250 modular flying wing, designed to weigh less than 250g, allowing for easy compliance with aviation regulations in many countries. This design means you can enjoy flying in most regions without the need for a remote identification tag. However, it's important to verify your local laws and ensure you fly in safe, unpopulated areas since it can go very fast.
It flys notable responsiveness, offering a firm yet reactive feel, which suits aerobatic maneuvers. It can rolls and loops easily.
Additionally, it features an efficient wingfoil, achieving a tested glide ratio close to 12 (which means it descends 1 meter for every 12 meters it glides).
Flying characteristics:
In my fly test.
Wing Span: 560mm (incl. winglets)
RTF weight: ~250g
Battery: 3S 1300mAh
Motor: 1406 3300kv
Prop: Gemfan 3inch 3052 (high pitch blades for speed)
Glide Ratio: ~12:1 @ 12m/s
Stall speed: 7.5m/s or 27km/h
Cruise Speed: 15m/s or 54km/h
Top speed : 30m/s or 108km/h
Cruise throttle: 50%
Cruise Time: 45min
Thurst to weight ratio: 0.9
Print Time : ~10 Hours vase mode PLA-Aero or LW-PLA
--
Note : Per user feedbacks, if you want to print with non-foaming materials such as PETG, you will need a 3S 18650 pack to get the COG right (normal lipo is too thick for the fuselage and the canopy wont fit). Prepare for heavier wing-load (stall speed will be increased massively)
This extended nose parts allows you to fit smaller battery
while still making COG right. Thanks to the author

Tuning before mainden
- Mixer setting : Pitch 60% Roll 30% – this is critical, because this plane has large control surface, and roll is too sensitive.
- INAV PID setting (under testing): I am still finding a good PID, will update you here. Mean while, please reduce roll PIDFF rate which the default values are really unstable.

Guides and print profiles
Print profiles and steps
[STANDARD] Body Parts This main profile encompasses all standard foaming parts, including wings, winglets, the main body, and the canopy body.
Please maintain the arrangement of the bodies, especially the foaming models.
They should be printed one by one, each on a separate plate.
To print with Polylite preformed LW-PLA, opt for the profile labeled “accessories” where all components are consolidated on a single plate. However, it's advised against printing foaming parts alongside other elements on the same plate . Despite using pre-foam PLA, unavoidable stringing and defects are likely to occur.
[STANDARD A1MINI] Body Parts (See desc) This is for A1 MINI only (under testing)
The only parts that exceesed A1Mini bed size is the wing, which is 25cm x 20cm.
So I split the wing into half and reduce the length of the wing from 200mm to 180mm to be able to print in A1 MINI.
Result in the wingspan is reduce to 40mm. I didnt make a test flight so play with it carefully.
The modification is done in Bambu Studio using scale and split tool.
[STANDARD] Accessories This profile contains all standard accessories. Print with PLA or ASA with a default setting is enough.
0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.
If you want to print the body parts with Polylite Prefoam LW-PLA in one plate, you can do that in this profile. However, there will be stringing and defect. I strongly advise you print them one by one using the “Body Part” profile
[UPGRADE] Motor Mount Options Motor mounts options are printed with regular materials.
0,4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height
[UPGRADE] Sledge Sledge selections, see below explain for details.
Rigid sledge for soft surface and spring sledge for hard surfaces.
Print with regular filaments.
0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.
[UPGRADE] Canopy Selections The accessories are in the different profile called “canopy accessories”
Print with Foaming materials and vase mode.
[UPGRADE] Canopy selections accessories Canopy selections accessories, print with regular filaments.
[UPGRADE] Large Winglet Winglet body should be printed with foaming material and vase mode.
The pads are optional, if you want to print them, add a new plate and print them with regular materials.
[UPGRADE] FPV Nose FPV nose, print in regular filaments.
0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.
A1 Mini Original Plane Size - 0.20 mm - read the text Everything’s ready to print, my dear A1 Mini owners! This is my contribution to this amazing project!
Important Notes:
- The profile settings are identical to the original one. You can use the same settings you were already using for this plane. - Wing parts should be printed in VASE mode , just like in the original profile. - For the connector pieces, switch settings to 0.20 mm Standard and spiral vase off as the image in the profile. The plate needs to be very clean to avoid bad adhesion or add a 3 mm brim with 0.09 mm distance . Glue each pair of connectors after printing. - The connectors plate can be printed in PLA, PETG, or similar materials — NOT in VASE mode! → Use 100% infill for this part and the 0.20mm Standard settings . See the image in the profile. - For all other parts , simply open the original profile and print as usual. P.S.: Due to the wing connectors, the wingspan has increased by 4 mm. One aileron needs to be split so the wing fits on the print bed.
Hope you enjoy it! If you like this profile, consider giving me a free boost — it really helps! 😊
