Description
Update 5/4/2025: There have been recent reports of support issues on the tail end of the aircraft. Make sure both “Remove small overhangs” and “Support critical regions only” are UNCHECKED before proceeding with the print. Bambu has added new support settings for the slicer and have them checked by default. The print profile has been updated to reflect the correct support settings.

This is a 1:53 scaled, fully 3D printable MQ-9 Reaper UAV. This model is drawn from scratch with Autodesk Fusion. It comes with landing gears, payload of a pair of GBU-12 bombs and 2 pairs AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, which are all optional. Model's wingspan is 15 inches/38 cm.
The MQ-9 Reaper, also known as Predator B, is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. It is designed primarily for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance and reconnaissance missions. It also has precision strike capabilities, capable of collecting high-resolution imagery, full-motion video, and other intelligence data, making it a valuable asset for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The aircraft is currently being used by the US Air Force, US Marines, CIA, and in countries such as the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands.
The MQ-9 Reaper represents a significant advancement over the MQ-1 Predator, offering improved speed, endurance, payload capacity, and versatility. While the Predator was a groundbreaking UAV in its time, the Reaper builds on its legacy with enhanced combat and reconnaissance capabilities, making it a more formidable and flexible tool for military operations.
This model took a lot of time and research, most features on it should be pretty accurate! Enjoy!

Print profiles and steps
All Printers 0.16mm later height
Parts such as bombs/missile mounts are organized into left side and right side of the aircraft.
Take your time, and don't try to print everything all at once.
P1S - AMS - 0.16mm layer, 2 walls, 10% infill Loved the model but wasn't happy with the assembly or paint. Poured over a bunch of photos I could find online of the plane, it's ordinance, and colors. Decided on this profile. I limited it to something you can print with a single AMS unit. Feel free to add any additional detail. Lastly, I also added pegs to the main body of the plane for stability. Gluing it was not enough. Fits great now even without glue. You will still need glue for the missiles and smaller features as there was no way to add pins to it without messing it up too much.
RNLAF MQ-9 ***Updated model 6 January 2026*** ***Updated model 6 January 2026***
Updated the antenna on the bottom and added the little antenna on top.
Royal Netherlands Air Force Roundel and wingtips.
Without weapons. Prop, cam and wheels colored and can be printed with AMS.
French fuselage 0.16mm layer, 2 walls, 10% infill I got a request of making a French MQ-9.
So here it is, a French MQ-9 fuselage, with French roundel and "ARMEE DE L' AIR" text on it.
This only contains the French fuselage. Same scale as the original USAF, so the rest of the parts can be printed using that files.
The text is quite small so I don't know how the printing quality of the letters will be.
