Description

With all the feedback, requests, and suggestions from my last Giftbox Mimic, I've made a whole new version to share with you all!

The Transforming Giftbox Mimic is a small giftbox with some awesome surprises. The lid opens up to reveal a gaping maw with sharp interlocking teeth and a sprawling tongue. The giftbox also sprouts legs to allow it to chase after any adventurers on the naughty list.

The Transforming Giftbox Mimic features a whopping 31 parts that form 24 moving joints .

As always, this model kit features snap-fit joints , no supports , no glue required, no AMS needed, and works with PLA .

Multi-Color - Print by Object

Bigger Tolerances - By Plate

Fast, 2 pieces split over 3 plates by color < 6 hours total! Similar split as A1mini by creator but printer more (internal) pieces together with the teeth, this way 2 mimics can be printed in the same run. Fast 0.2 standard quality profile too less than 6 hours in total. I printed Bambu matte red PLA, Sunlu white PLA+ 2.0 and Tecbears glow in the dark Green PLA (which glows weak but long so you can see them glow hours after lights-off). Fit together suprisingly well given the wild mix of materials.

0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 10% infill
