Prusa XL - Big Spool 5KG spool holder

I needed a spool holder to mount on the side of the Prusa XL that would support the 5KG spools from MatterHackers. Those spools have a smaller than usual center hole. Of course, this will also work for smaller spools as well. I had some extra hardware from the kits so it's designed to use what I had. No reason this shouldn't work on other machines with a similar need.

To mount you will need:

2 x m3 T-slot spring nuts (T-Nuts should also work) 2 x m3 10mm machine screws (and the driver of course) 2 x m3 washers (optional but a good idea)

Printed mine in PETG, PLA would likely work You might as well go overkill with the print settings, here's what I used

.25mm layer height 8 perimeters 4 top and bottom solid layers

No supports needed, print with the big plate on the print bed

Seems more than strong enough!
