Dual filament cutting jig

This is a filament jig for cutting the two ends you want to join at the same angle in one go. Can be used for any type of splicer. The angle is 155 degrees to maximize the surface area on the splicing ends. You need two pieces of PTFE tube to insert into the 4 mm holes from each side. It is a very tight fit, so you may need to pre-drill the holes (4 mm) before inserting the PTFE tubes. I used a drop of silicone lube and then slowly rotated the pieces into place with a 7.2 V drill. Cut through the tubes before first use. Insert the filament ends, one from each side, through the jig. Let the cut-off ends stick out about 1 cm for easy removal after cutting. Insert the utility knife in the slot and press all the way through to cut both filament strands. I have tested this with the SUNLU FC01 filament connector and it works really well.
