Description

I designed this for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I know they will fit other models and years, but I don't know which.

To get the two toned look, you have to change the filament at the correct height. I printed it with the smaller section on the build plate and used supports (right side up). I changed the filament greater than 9.3 mm, once it starts the walls and infill for the raised parts of the cog.

It could be printed with the cog down (upside down). The raised section is 2.5 mm. The filament MUST be changed at 2.3 mm, before it starts the roof which will be the other color. If you wait past that and it starts the roof, you won't get the two color look when looking at it from the front. I printed it the other way because if you miss the change by a little, you can't really see that the bottom of the walls are the "wrong" color.

Color Change Heights A. Imperial Cog Right side up >9.3 mm Upside down <2.3 mm

B. Raised Rebel Symbol Right side up > 11.8 mm Upside down < 3.7 mm

C. Recessed Rebel Symbol Right side up > 8.7 mm Upside down < 3.1 mm

There is also a blank hub center if you want to add your own design.

Use super glue to glue the legs into the base. The lip on the legs should be facing out. Also, glue the center support into the legs. The best glue I've found is Loctite Super Glue Professional Liquid or Gel or Gorilla Glue gel. This does not bond instantly to PLA, however.

When it is dry, put the three legs up to the hole of the wheel and give it a firm hit in the center to seat it in the hole. It will spin. I'm still working on measurements to get it to seat firmly in the hole without spinning. It isn't such a big deal for the Imperial Cog, but the Rebel symbol may rotate to a weird orientation.
