The KeyNest is a compact, stylish, and functional wall-mounted organizer designed to simplify your daily routine by giving your keys and small everyday items a permanent home. Design & Features

This 3D-printable wall organizer features two main components:

Key Holder Section: Equipped with 3–5 integrated hooks or slots (depending on the model version), this section is designed to hold keychains, lanyards, car fobs, or even small tools like pocket knives or USB sticks.

Catch-All Tray: A shallow, flat area just below or next to the hooks where you can place coins, wallets, earbuds, smartwatches, or small notes. The edges are slightly raised to prevent items from sliding off, and the tray's surface is smooth for easy cleaning.

The entire design is compact and prints in one piece. It combines minimalist lines with practical features, fitting well into any home style—from Scandinavian to industrial.

Material Recommendation: PLA (easy), PETG (stronger for heavier items)

Layer Height: 0.2 mm

Wall Thickness: 2–3 mm

Infill: 20% recommended

Filament Use: ~80–120g depending on size

The design is friendly for entry-level printers and requires no post-processing unless you're sanding or painting for style.

Customization Options

Using Fusion 360 or any other CAD program, you can easily:

Add names or labels (like “MOM,” “DAD,” “WORK”)

Change the number of hooks to suit your household

Resize the tray for more or less space

Modify mounting points to match wall anchors or magnets

Add dividers inside the tray for coins, earbuds, etc.

Change style (rounded corners, angular edges, etc.)

Want a smart home twist? Remix it to hold an AirTag or RFID tag inside.

Installation Guide

There are two main mounting options:

Screw Mounting (Recommended) Use the built-in screw holes to mount the organizer to drywall, wood, or concrete. Two screws are enough to hold the structure firmly.

Adhesive Mounting (Optional) Use strong double-sided adhesive or command strips if you don’t want to drill into your wall. Great for rentals.
