Description

-------------

The electronics enclosure of the RatRig V4 is a bit crowded so no room for extra's like a dedicated 5V PSU for the RPi. So, I made an extension you can add at the bottom, with optionally a power connector with switch and an ethernet connector.

The long versions for 300/400/500 will connect to the bottom 2 enclosure screws.

The cover for the short version is the same as the 300 cover.

Added versions with a 25mm x 25mm grid of m3 connectors so you acan add your own mounts onto this.

Print according to RatRig specs. My version is in PETG. (the picture is a bit different as the final model)

NEW: Version 2 with separate side panels for easy printing and more options.

Powerconnector/switch/fuse combo I used:

Cold device connector plug C-14 with red switch and fuse 10A/250V : Amazon.nl: DIY & Tools

Ethernet passthru:

XMSJSIY RJ45 CAT6A Panel Mount Adapter Threaded Fixed Mount Coupling Ethernet Bus to Bus Pass-Through Connector Cat6A/CAT6/CAT5E 8P8C network socket LAN : Amazon.nl: Business, Industry & Science

I used a MeanWell LRS-50-5 powersupply.

And you will need 8 M3 heat inserts and 4 M3*8 Screws.

Assembly:

- Remove bottom panel from original enclosure. And remove bottom 2 middle screws form the enclosure rear panel. - Mount extension to enclosure with 4 M3*8 screws (where original bottom panel was) - Replace bottom 2 enclosure screws to fix extension. - Mount bottom enclosure pannel to bottom of extension. - You can use the Power_Cover to close the old holes for fuse and 220V connector.
