Re115 Lite - Rapidevolution 115mm (3") Printpick FPV Frame

Rapidevolution is line of printable 1S FPV frames.

The Re-115 Lite is a printable, 3", 1S Toothpick frame, focused on lightweight performance, and "take what you can get" durability. With a clean build, it should fly nicely on Betaflight defaults. Fine tune for increased performance. These frames are a constant work in progress, and you're likely to find increased performance with later versions, but they all meet a reasonable level of performance. Any claims made are based on frames printed with Colorfabb XT-CF20, a PETG filament containing 20% carbon fiber. It's incredibly stiff, and can take a pretty good crash into branches, and onto dirt. I am experimenting with adding 2 to 3 layers of TPU, or Alloy 910 nylon, at lower, mid, and upper layers of the print. You should experiment if you like. Otherwise, just print, build, and fly. Feedback is appreciated.

At the time of this posting for the v1 Re-115, I am flying the first prototypes of the v3. Watch for more frames being released very soon. Rapidevolution frames are available in 80mm, 90mm, 115mm, and 120mm, in various formats including extreme lightweight (look for the Lite EX version.)

Resolution:

Infill: 0% - 100%

Filament: Colorfabb XT-CF20 Carbon

Notes:

Use Prusaslicer and print with 0% infill for a light, and stiff frame. Increasing infill may increase durability. It's a lot to get into, and I could probably speak of my experiences extensively. Dowload the CF20-Frame.ini from the Thing files for the settings I use with my Prusa Mini.

Post-Printing ============= Dry your filament and the only thing to do post-print, is build and fly.
