#0005 Fan Duct (remixed) and Extruder Lighting [MK3S+]

Summary:

- I thought of the idea of combining the extruder cooling function of a fan duct with a lighting function as well. Given the geometries of the Prusa MK3S+ printer, it's hard to see the nozzle during the print, so the added light comes in handy. - In some cases when printing high temperature materials (Examples: ABS, PC, PC+PBT, etc.) , even a fan duct made of ABS will soften, burn, and warp (droop) from it's original form due to how close it is to the heating block (See the picture attached above.) - For the 2 reasons above, I recommend that this fan duct be printed from transparent polycarbonate. Using an enclosure to ensure a successful print is HIGHLY recommended. If you want one but don't want to put the time into the setup, buying the filament, and printing one successfully, I may be able to help print them for you--just make a request in the comment section below. Features:

- Provide good lighting right at the extruder tip and about 1" diameter around it. The duct is designed to aim the LED's directly at the extruder tip. Even if not printed from transparent PC, the light from the LED's is designed to exit the duct ports and still illuminate the extruder tip effectively, though you'll miss out on the diffused lighting of the surrounding area. - Since the LED's are embedded in the duct itself (but kept from blocking air flow) the air flow in the duct helps keep the LED's cool. Also the LED's are now further away than the previous design (therefore cooler). - Stays in shape for high temperature materials (if printed out of PC). - The LED on the right is positioned differently than the left to keep it away from the PINDA probe, to avoid potential interference with the probe's function. - Improved internal duct geometries to help alleviate defects from bridging. - Overall the fan duct also acts as a light diffuser if printed from transparent PC. Given that this is 3D printed, even a transparent color will not be printed as completely transparent, due to the many imperfections in the layer lines that reflect light differently, but more like "very translucent" in the bottom horizontal faces and look more like un-smoothed "ice" everywhere else.

Don't expect a completely transparent part without a lot of time post processing it. But it can be used as printed--just add the LED's, some wiring and soldering.

I connectorized the wiring for the LED's just in case i need to replace the duct or LED's themselves, see picture above.
