Description
Assembly
This part is assembled the same as the stock Voron M4 extruder, so the same installation steps can be followed. The belt is a bit tight to get on, but if you put the belt over both pulleys and slide them both on at the same time, it becomes a bit easier.
Extruder Tuning
Here's a good guide for printer extrusion tuning: Ellis' Print Tuning Guide
If you are using Klipper, you can set rotation_distance under [extruder] to the following equation: stepper degrees (200 for 1.8, 400 for 0.9) * microsteps / steps per mm
ex. 200 * 16 / 627.5 = ~5.1 I found that ~627.5 worked for me, so I would start around 630 and adjust from there
Edits
Edit 6/26/25: Removed the counter-bore that made the GT2 pulley sit too far inward, this also removed the need for the 5 m3x8 button head screws.
Edit 5/25/25: Reduced total width by 1mm and reduced belt retention flange diameter by 2mm to reduce rubbing
