Description

This bracket consists of two parts — a "base" and an "adjustable_arm" — that together hold a flat sheet as a wind deflector. The base requires M3 hex nuts and 20mm hex screws to connect with the adjustable_arm.

Recommended materials:

- Clear A4 folder (best rigidity and moisture resistance)

⚠ Avoid using regular paper — air conditioners produce condensation that will cause paper to warp and degrade over time.

Tips:

- Tape multiple sheets end to end to extend the length

Once assembled, attach the unit to your air conditioner using double-sided tape. ⚠ Use acrylic foam tape (VHB-type) that is moisture-resistant — regular foam tape will absorb condensation from the air conditioner, causing it to lose adhesion over time. If you need to remove it in the future, carefully use a blade to slowly cut through and clean off the foam tape residue.

Note: adjustable_arm => arc length of the sheet slot is 248.5 mm

Note: When facing the AC air outlet, install "base_left_v2" on the left side and "base_right_v2" on the right side.

Print Settings:

PETG, 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, No brim, No supports required

This was designed to solve my problem of cold air constantly blowing directly at my head. Hope it helps you too!
