Description

This simple and easy to print adapter allows to inflate the Cressi SUP with an electric air pump or compressor, just using a car tire valve (easy findable at any tire shop). The model may require some normal support for the threads, it depends on how well tuned is your printer.

Printing instructions:

- Material - PLA is fine, you can go also ABS or PETG.

- Layer Height: 0.2mm

- Walls: full solid

- Supports: depends on your printer. I've tried with normal support for threads, they are easy to take out with a fine screwdriver (less than 30 seconds).

Mounting instructions:

Press the tire valve inside the print with a circular movement until it pops out and stays firmly in place. The tollerances are slightly larger so it shouldn't require excessive force. Then screw the adapter into the hose that came with the SUP Paddle Board. The hose has an o-ring inside that seals the adapter from any air leak, just screw it firmly and you are done!

Now you can inflate the SUP with a portable air compressor. It's not faster than the manual pump but it doesn't require any manual labour! :D

DON'T OVERINFLATE!!! The Cressi Sup operates at 0,8-1bar (11,5-14,5psi). Don't go past these values. My suggestion is to inflate it with the compressor untile it takes shape (0,4-0,5bar), then complete the inflation with the manual pump (25-40 pumps) to have everything under control.
